This Week's Program: Shreyas Kumar of New Delhi, India who is currently working for Oracle will talk about his experience as an Ambassadorial Scholar from India to Texas A&M University. As developing countries, such as India, have no funds at the district level to sponsor scholarships The Rotary Foundation funds a limited number of scholarships for applicants from developing countries. The competition is very keen.

Last Week's Program: Woodside Priory teacher, Josh Bookin, talked about his background and interest in the Ambassadorial Scholar program. Josh has submitted his application for 2007-2008 when he was notified that he had been accepted for a program at Harvard for that year. Josh intends to re-apply for the 2008-2009 Ambassadorial Scholar program. Josh is passionate about incorporating the concept of sustainability into secondary education.

Next Week's Program: Next week being the week of the Memorial Day holiday we are technically "dark" though we could have a Taste of Woodside meeting if Ken Hayes is so inclined.

Club News: Dave has decided to continue as our caterer. Thanks Dave. Barbara lost her beloved Foxy Lady on Saturday to an apparent heart attack.
