Regular meeting is at 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM Wednesday with breakfast by Encore Performance Catering, fellowship, project updates and an interesting speaker from the community. Guild Hall, Woodside Village Church, 3154 Woodside Road, Woodside, California Guests are not only welcome but encouraged!
Last Meeting:
June 30 was our night for dinner at AMIGO'S, dining cafe de la paix style in the lovely weather. 13 members and 5 guests shared cocktail burritos, guacamole, salsa, sangria, beer and other goodies served by a very helpful wait person. The maitre de was always ready to help us learn some new Spanish.
This Week's Program:
Past President, Dean Babcock, will tell us about “Re-inventing Streetcars-2010.” Those of you that had the good fortune to grow up in San Francisco have never seen streetcars disappear. In Dean’s hometown, Minneapolis, one of the best systems in the country lost all of its streetcars. But they are coming back!

July 28 Jackie C. Young, AICP, Director of Planning and Building for the Town of Woodside, will tell us of the coming changes to the town general plan.
Club News:
International Chair Ken Broome has installed his Jet Water Turbine in an irrigation canal near Turlock, CA. He and his associates will soon conduct experiments to demonstrate to California state water officials the benefits of generating hydroelectric power with irrigation water flows.
