This Week's Program:  Update on the Rebuilding Alliance

Rotary Club member, Donna Baranski-Walker, will give us an update on her activities as the Executive Director of the Rebuilding Alliance.

Last  Week's Program:  (courtesy of Last Week Editor, Dean Babcock) Unfortunately our scheduled speaker, Anne Buelteman, was called out of town and couldn’t tell us about her singing and dancing career.  Multi-year past president, Barbara Schmidt, introduced four graduating seniors from Summit High School in Redwood City, a charter high school that year after year succeeds in having all their graduating seniors go on to four year colleges.  The students were all chosen by the faculty of Summit to receive our book scholarships.  Each of the students gave a brief presentation about their experience at Summit and why they thought they were selected for the scholarship. They also talked about their volunteer work and career goals.  Truly a worthy group of young citizens.  Congratulations!

Next Week's Program:  You and Your Ballot

Club member, Ken Broome, will introduce a member of the League of Women Voters who will discuss the pros and cons of the June ballot measures.

Club News:   None whatsoever.
