Regular Meeting                                                                                           May 12th 2010

7:30 AM - 8:30 AM Wednesday with breakfast by Encore Performance Catering, fellowship, project updates and an interesting speaker from the community.  Guild Hall, Woodside Village Church, 3154 Woodside Road, Woodside, California  Guests are not only welcome but encouraged!

This Week's Program:   First Aid Training  Past and future president, Barbara Schmidt, will introduce a member of the Woodside Fire Department who will give some tips on First Aid. 

Next Week's Program:  Singing and Dancing with Anne Anne Buelteman, daughter of Bob, will entertain us with stories of her singing and dancing career

Club News:  Your roving editor visited the library in Xolsacmalja, Guatemala last week to deliver some donated books and also to talk to them about their internet connection which should be in place by June 1st.  They are very excited yet I still don't know what they are going to do with it.  While there I was cornered by three boys who, among other things, wanted to know why gringos were so tall, what did gringos eat, why was my hair short and how long did it take to get from San Francisco to Guatemala in an airplane. The last question was pretty easy to answer.
