This Week's Program:  New and Innovative Design Ideas Belmont Rotarian and wife of our own Allen Cary, Jeanie Cary will bring samples and show us the latest design products including ways to "green" your design project.

Last  Week's Program:   (courtesy of the person who wrote the article in the absence of our Last Week Editor, Dean Babcock)  Wendy Mattes spoke to us about Riley’s Place, which is co-located with NCEFT in Woodside.  Riley Church was a delightful girl who fell in love with horses when she was 8 years old.  She adopted Al and then Louie.  She started riding at Webb Ranch and wanted someday to be a veterinarian.  Riley was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 2004.  She underwent a concerted program of anti-cancer treatment but she relapsed in January, 2006 and passed away in May of 2006.  Weeks before her death Riley had a home visit from a miniature horse named "Lollipop."

Next Week's Program:  Stay Tuned!

Club NewsThe (now) annual third grade dictionary distribution is underway at several underserved schools in the area.  The childrens' dictionary has been updated this year and all the children have been very enthusiastic about the books.  Thanks to all who have given time to put the Rotary labels in the books and helped with the distribution.
