This Week's Program:  President Dave Hyman will introduce Rotarian and marketing specialist, Jim Sanderson, who will present some ideas on how to market out little club and perhaps increase our membership.  Speaking of which we will also discuss whether or not the club wants to do a community showing of the documentary film Where Water Meets the Sky on December 1st which is World AIDs Day.  Volunteers would be needed.

Last  Week's Program:  (courtesy of Last Week Editor, Dean Babcock)

President David Hyman introduced Melissa Redd to speak to us about The Energy Diet and her work in wellness coaching.  She has over 19 years experience in the health and fitness industry. Her clients include the San Francisco Giants, the Oakland Athletics, Fenwick and West LLP, Wells Fargo and other industrial and business organizations.  Her work emphasizes nutrition, fitness and stress management.

Melissa discussed the various reasons we eat; physical, physiological and emotional.  She gave us suggestions for healthy eating habits; balanced eating, proper timing, portion control, water recommendations and stressed the importance of whole and unprocessed foods. She described the signs of stress on the body and pointed out the dangers of diabetes.  For further information contact Melissa at Melissa@reddcoaching.com or visit her website at www.reddcoaching.com.

 Next Week's Program:   TBA

Club NewsPresident Dave thanks all those who contributed clothing and food items for the St. Francis Center in Redwood City.  Dave delivered the items last week and they were greatly appreciated.
