This Week's Program:   Rotary Cultural Ambassadorial Scholar

Patricia Crawley - Rotary Cultural Ambassadorial Scholar will discuss her three months in Florence Italy.

Last  Week's Program:   (courtesy of Last Week Editor, Dean Babcock)  President David Hyman introduced Woodside photographer Paul Tedrick to talk to us about “Improving your picture taking skills.” Paul is originally from Cleveland, Ohio.  He came to California to study at the Brooks School of Photography in Santa Barbara. He practiced the photographic art for a few years in Colorado and then came to the Bay area where he built his studio.

Paul treated us to a 3 minute slide show of his pictures, starting with some of his monochrome contest shots, some of which won blue ribbons.  He especially likes taking pictures of young children and has a knack for catching them in very natural poses.  He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and does a fine job on studio and field portraits of couples especially with their animals. His wedding shots show real imagination, finding well suited and interesting poses for each bride and groom.

Next Week's Program:   NO MEETING DUE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY!

Club NewsTicket sales are slow for Taste of Woodside.  Please do what you can to find some new people to come this year.
