This Week's Program: Progress in Nepal
Rotarian, David Sowerwine, will update us on his work in Nepal. As you may remember David builds bridges that allow access to education and work for the rural Nepalese. He has also developed a pedal power LED light that provides home lighting.
Last Week's Program: President-Elect introduced Doris Davis who is trained as a nurse but now works overseeing clinical drug trials. She represents Genentech and her job is to check with the physicians involved in the clinical trial to make certain that they are playing by the rules. Doris also offered information regarding the consent form that one needs to sign when partaking in such a clinical trial.
Next Week's Program: Club Retreat
Ths meeting will be devoted to decisions that need to be made regarding the future of the club.
