This Week's Program: Climbing to the Top of the Grand Tetons
Bill Alfano will introduce Dr. Timothy Leary who will talk about his trek to the top of the Tetons.
Last Week's Program: Your editor is sorry that she missed the discussion about life and Rotary in Bali which I am sure was interesting. However, since no one tooks notes for the editor in her absence (she was working very hard in Hawaii) we can only offer our thanks to Sue Bennett for talking the time to speak to the club.
Next Week's Program: Recycling, Waste Mgmt, Politics and Whistleblowing
Community Service Chair, Sandie Pugh, will introduce Anne Lauzon, CEO of Commercial Industrial Waste Applications. Anne will give us the scary low down on commercial waste management.
Club News: Our Ambassadorial Scholarship candidate, Josh Bookin, has announced that he will be back at Woodside Priory this summer working on their "Bridge Program" which is a tutoring program they offer to children from East Palo Alto. He has offered to devote a couple of hours each week to tutoring George and Selena in math as well. Josh will be in the area mid-May and as soon as his dates are know he will be added to the calendar for the club interview.
